Plagiarism is very much in the musical news at the moment with Ed Sheeran being a recent high profile defendant.
Today it’s been announced that Universal has served notice of intent on the composer of Netta Barzilai‘s Eurovision Song Contest winning entry ‘Toy’.
Universal claim that the song plagiarises the 2003 hit ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes.
